MATERIALS

All of our leather OWB holsters are handcrafted from hand-dyed full-grain leather and manufactured in California. Each holster is cured and hardened to maintain the shape of the custom mold and preserve the original character and rustic qualities of the leather. You’ll also find that each holster will vary in color due to the character of the leather.

CARRY POSITION

Our leather pancake holsters are for side carry only – not for cross draw or for IWB positions. OWB leather holsters are a great choice if you want a full and firm grip on your gun when drawing and can be discreet with the right clothing. Since the pancake holster is wider than a normal holster, it wraps around the body a bit better and tucks the grip (handle) of the gun in towards the body, so that it prints less. For most holsters, it's important to keep the grip from printing, as that is the part of the gun that sticks out the furthest from the body.
